Teachers to Train for Better Modules

 

Backlashes were fired to the Department of Education for numerous erroneous content of the self-learning modules from the start of the school year up to now with the latest malicious content about a certain creature. In answer, Education Secretary Diosdado San Antonio said in the public hearing held by Committee on Public Accounts of the House of Representatives that the Department is putting together training programs to help teachers prepare quizzes and written activities for learners. DepEd continues to monitor the validated errors in the learning modules.

Furthermore, National Council for Children’s Television Executive Director Desideria Atienza expressed her group’s enthusiasm to partner with the DepEd in developing quality materials for the students.

Rep. Jose Singson Jr., who chaired the committee hearing said that they will make recommendations to the concerned agencies and craft the appropriate laws to address the issues that hamper the education of Filipino students amid the pandemic.
