More Holidays for June, July -Palace

 The palace announces June and July as official holidays.



MANILA, Philippines — To enable Filipinos to commemorate festivals and community founding anniversaries, President Marcos has announced additional local holidays for June and July.

Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin recently signed the 13 proclamations, which were then published in the Official Gazette.

In honor of the 62nd anniversary of its creation, Proclamation No. 931 designated June 25 as a special nonworking day in Sabangan, Mountain Province.

In honor of its 62nd establishment anniversary, Calanasan, Apayao, has declared the same day a special nonworking day under Proclamation No. 932.


In celebration of Pangantucan, Bukidnon's 63rd founding anniversary, Proclamation No. 933 declared July 1 to be a special nonworking day.

Four additional areas also observe the same day as a special nonworking day. In honor of its 69th founding anniversary, Maramag, Bukidnon, has declared July 1 a special nonworking day in accordance with Proclamation No. 934.


According to Proclamation No. 936, July 1 is also a special nonworking day in Kibawe, Bukidnon, in honor of the city's 69th anniversary of foundation.

In honor of its 65th charter anniversary, Proclamation No. 935 designated the same day as a special nonworking day in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
In honor of the city's 112th founding anniversary, Proclamation No. 943 declared July 1 to be a special nonworking day in Dipolog City.


Due to Araw ng Mauban, Proclamation No. 935 designated July 15 as a special nonworking day in Mauban, Quezon.

In honor of the 38th anniversary of its formation, Proclamation No. 939 declares the same day to be a special nonworking day in the Cordillera Administrative Region.

In Digos City, Davao del Sur, July 18 was designated as a special nonworking day during the Padigosan Festival by Proclamation No. 938.
