Happy News: Mga Kabataang Pinoy Kampeon sa Robotics

 Nanguna ang mga paaralan ng Deped sa ginanap na virtual 19th Philippine Robotics Olympiad na nilahukan  ng 286 iba't-ibang paaralan sa Pilipinas noong nakaraang buwan.

" I would like to congratulate those who participated and won in this Robotics Olympiad. Talaga namang pinatunayan nito na hindi nagpapahuli ang mga paaralan natin sa paglinang ng mga mag-aaral sa robotics," pahayag ni DepEd Secretary Leonor M. Briones.

" The field of Robotics is one of the exciting fields in the future of education and with the help of our partners, we hope to support more schools for them to offer robotics program," panghihikayat pa ng kalihim.

Panalo sina Jamella Ronquillo at Greg Homer Delos Santos mula sa Aurora Quezon Elementary School ng Manila City para sa Elementary Category.

Wagi naman sa Junior High School Category sina Marc Francisco Largo, Luke Alexander Pons, at Allen Reilan Bustamante ng Pitogo High School Makati City.

Para sa Senior High School Category, nanaig naman sina Reymond Yncierto, John Carlo Eduria at Jhun Eric Tindungan mula sa Batasan Hills National High School Quezon City.

Kampeon naman sa Open Category sina Nicole Cheng Angela Sanchez, Shania Kate Namoco, at Shane Clarice Bacrang mula sa Candijay National High School ng Bohol.

" We would like to involve as many students, coaches, parents, and school administrators to create awareness on how Virtual robotics technology can be an engaging competition and event during COVID times," pahayag ng Felta Multi-Media Inc. President and Robotics Olympiad National Organizer na si Bb. Mylene Abiva.

Naghahanda na para sa Robot Virtual Games ang samahan sa gaganapin ngayong November 9-11, 2020 at World Robot Games Canada sa November 12-15, 2020.
