2024-2025 Official DEPED Dates to Remember
The academic year 2024–2025 will commence on July 29 of this year and conclude on April 15, of that same year.
With this, the school year will gradually return to June each year and continue until the end of March of the following year.
In view of the switch to the previous June to March school calendar, the chief executive and vice president convened at Malacañan Palace to consider the two possibilities for implementing the School Year (SY) 2024–2025 calendar.
President Marcos instructed the Department of Education (DepEd) to begin implementing the reinstatement of the regular school calendar days starting in SY 2024–2025 during a sectoral meeting with Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte.
