No Classes on August 23 & 24 - Palace

 President Marcos has declared a suspension on work and classes at all levels in public schools and all government agencies from today Aug. 23 through tomorrow Aug. 24 due to severe Tropical Storm Florita.

 Press Sec Trixie Cruz-Angeles: Heavy rain poses a potential danger to the population, according to advice from the  Civil Protection Agency. The same approach for private schools and institutions is left to the discretion of their respective leaders. The  NDRRMC has recommended the suspension of classes and work in public schools and government agencies in Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Bulacan, Zambales and Bataan, according to the Palace.
