1. One of the continuing initiatives of the Department of Edu ca ti on (DepEd) along its thru st of in creasing access to quality elementary education is strengthening the implementation of the Multigrade Program in Philippine Education (MPPE) to add res s pr es s in g concerns and issues on the provision of tea chi ng an d learning material s for learners in multigr a de (MG) schools and ensure that all MG learners receive quality learning at par with their counter parts in the monograde schools.

2. ln support of the implementation of the DepEd Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP) in Multigrade schools, the enclosed Guidelines on the Release, Utili zat io n, Monitoring, and Reporting of Program Support Funds for Multigrade Schools for Calen dar Year 2021 stipulate procedures on funds release,

utilization, reporting, and liquidation, specificall y on the reproduction of

supplementary Learning Activity Sheets in English , Science, and Mathematics for the 3rd and 4th qu ar ter s to be used by MG learners.
