One Filipino, One Bank Account Act

Senator Win Gatchalian pushes Senate Bill No. 2251 otherwise known as One Filipino One Bank account Act. Said bill mandates LANDBANK and the Development Bank of the Philippines to open and maintain a bank account to all Filipinos. All created bank accounts will be free from opening and maintenance charges. It will also be used for delivering government's public and social services ( ayuda). More importantly, accounts will be link to Philippine  Identification System.

"Sa ating isinusulong, hindi na kailangang pumila para makakuha ng ayuda dahil ilalagak na ito sa pansariling bank account kasama ng iba pang tulong pinansyal ng ating pamahalaan para sa taong-bayan," he said.
