DepEd Commons, Free Access na!

DepEd Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones directed the call for support from the Telco Partners in giving FREE access to DepEd Commons (, the Department's online education delivery platform designed as alternative mode for teaching- learning process during class suspensions and other similar circumstances.

Learners and Teachers can now access the DepEd Commons even without incurring data charges on their Globe/ TM smartphones.
DepEd ties up with the local telco to ensure educational continuity amidst COVID-19 pandemic. Support of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) offers the initiative backing delivery of public education services through connectivity.

DepEd Commons contains online reviewers and Open Educational Resources (OER) authored by Public School Teachers adept in respective subject matters. Presently, Commons has 4,236,667  online users and expected to increase daily. Globe eLibrary, featuring ebooks for children and young adults, is also integrated in the platform.
