Teachers to get PhP1000 incentive on National Teachers’ Month

DepEd spokesperson Atty. Michael Poa announced this at a press conference, saying the company will continue to provide World Teachers' Day Incentive Benefits (WTDIB) to qualified public school teachers.

Atty. Poa added that DepEd will host a program for educators on National Teachers Day, scheduled for Oct. 5.

At Tuesday's National Teachers Month launch event, Vice President and Secretary of Education Sarah Duterte, in person and online, praised teachers for their sacrifice and efforts to bring education to young people.

“Yes po. We will continue with the P1,000 incentive para sa pagpupugay sa ating mga teachers [to honor our teachers],” he said.
