School Year 2020-2021 opens on August 24

DepED Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones officially announced the opening of school Year 2020-2021 on August 24.

"Ang napili nating school opening date ay August 24," Sec. Briones said during the Laging Handa public briefing.

Furthermore, some of the important points of the briefing includes:

1.All Public School Teaching and Non- Teaching Personnel should report either thru online or physically starting June 1.

2. Self-learning kits and printed materials are being prepared for the students with no internet access.

3. DepED Commons as a learning platform will be broaden and continued.

4. Mass gathering and school activities remain suspended despite of the opening.

5. Roles of parents and guardians in education specially against cyber bullying are important.
